I experienced one and a half things on my list on August 23, 2025. My family and I went to see our favorite band, Chevelle, play in New Jersey.
During this tour, they had a promotion on their site where you could buy the snare drum that their drummer plays at each of the shows. I bought the one for our concert, and because of that, my family and I got a meet-and-greet with their drummer after the show. (He was great to talk with!)
The band technically has one other member, Sam’s brother Pete, but Pete wasn’t a part of this promotion. They also have a hired bass player who plays with them on tour. I would love a picture with all three guys, but I would also be 100% satisfied if I had one with just Sam and Pete.
I am ecstatic that my family and I got a picture with Sam, and if that’s all that happens, I can’t complain.
But…let’s see. The Universe works in mysterious ways!
I also asked for a drumstick (because it’s on my list, of course), and their manager gave me two.
